Amy Ortez D.V.M.

Amy Ortez is originally from Bucks County, PA. She grew up spending a lot of her time in and around barns and working with horses. After years of working in various aspects of the horse industry she made the decision to attend veterinary school. Amy is a 2011 graduate from the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edwards Island, Canada. Upon graduation she went exclusively into equine medicine for a couple years before becoming a mixed animal practitioner.

Since graduating, Amy has made her home near Rochester, NY. Outside of work she enjoys taking outdoor adventures. She loves to travel and see unique places, such as Havasupai Indian Reservation that is surrounded entirely by the Grand Canyon. Besides traveling, Amy also enjoys working with and riding her horses, has a great love for vegetarian food and is a member of the Religious Society of Friends, or Friends Church.
