Joann Tetlow L.V.T.
Received degrees from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and Medaille College. She has been with Fairport Animal Hospital since 1982. Jo joined us as a receptionist, was promoted to Team Leader and later received her degree in Veterinary Technology. She lives in Fairport with her husband, Mike and their collection of pets. She finds being at Fairport Animal Hospital a very rewarding career. “I love what I do and learn something new every day.” Jo is also an adjunct professor in the Veterinary Technology program at Genesee Community College where she teaches Clinical Laboratory Techniques as well as Radiology and Dentistry. She is the District Representative for the Genesee Valley Region of the New York State Association of Veterinary Technicians. Her spare time is spent bird watching with her husband or doing something fun outdoors.
Jordan Vaillancourt L.V.T.
Graduated from Medaille College in 2017 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Jordan joined our team that August and has already learned so much in the short time she has been here. She loves to be a part of making a positive difference, not only in an animals life but an owners as well. Jordan is very interested in learning about cytology and exotic animals. She hopes to teach students one day and help them reach their goals just as she has done. Outside of work Jordan and her son enjoy spending time with their rabbit “Baxter” and kitten “Phil” as well as going camping with family on the weekends.
Debbie Hebblethwaite L.V.T.
Debbie is a graduate of Medaille College with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Debbie joined our team in July 2017 after being an equine technician for the past 13 years. She is interested in learning more about exotic and small animals. Outside of work Debbie enjoys geocaching with her new husband, Duane. They are the co-founders of SPR, a pig rescue farm in Savannah, NY. She also loves spending time with her miniature horse, Beasley, walking and driving him around. Debbie has quite a few pets of her own including 4 rabbits (Chuckie, Sky, Emma and Buttermilk), a rat, Peppy and her Amazon Parrot, Cookie.
Rachel Miller, L.V.T. is a 2018 graduate of Genesee Community College's Veterinary Technician program. She also holds a BS in Biology from SUNY Brockport. She and her husband, Joe, are new residents of Fairport and are excited to explore everything it has to offer. In her spare time Rachel enjoys fishing, reading and painting.
