Fairport Animal Hospital Receptionists
The receptionists at Fairport Animal Hospital have been trained to assist our clients with all of their needs. They know the veterinary standards of care, common veterinary ailments and are able to answer many questions. Some of their many and invaluable tasks include client communication, gathering information from owners before a pet is examined and assisting the veterinarians.
Natasha Talbot came to Fairport Animal Hospital in the summer of 2012. She graduated from Alfred State College with an Associate’s degree in Agricultural Technology and Veterinary Technology. Natasha enjoys coming to work and helping with all the pets and wildlife that come in. She loves getting to know the patients and their families. Outside of the hospital Natasha lives with her cats Kali and Blaze, chocolate lab-mix, Chase, her rottweiler Ryker, and her newest addition McKenna a husky mix. In her spare time she likes to take her dogs long for walks, attend mud bogs and truck pulls.
Jena Perkins came to Fairport Animal Hospital in the fall of 2015. While she has a love of all animals, Jena has a soft spot for cats in particular. Jena enjoys working at the hospital, and is a welcome addition to our team. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with the "loves of her life"- her dog Gabby, and two cats, Penelope and Finnigan. She also enjoys doing crafts, and listening to her favorite radio show Rover’s Morning Glory.
Kristina Powell joined the team in January 2018. She attended a two year veterinary assistant program in her hometown of Smithfield, Virginia and is continuing her education at MCC with a goal of pursuing a degree in radiology. She enjoys meeting and providing care and assistance for owners and their pets. She particularly loves introducing new puppies and kittens to our practice. Outside of the hospital Kristina spends her time taking her pit bull, Bella, on hikes and trips to the beach.
Amanda Bureau became part of our team in August 2018. She's originally from Massachusetts and Northeastern University graduate. Amanda has always loved being around both people and pets so working at an animal hospital is the perfect fit. When not working she loves watching her New England major sports teams and spending time with her husband, three children and their dogs - Jack a Rottweiler, French Bulldogs Beau & Rico, and cat Plumb.
