Our In-House Laboratory
allows us to give accurate
information in a very short
period of time. Our licensed
technicians are trained
to perform the majority of
the required laboratory
procedures right on the
premises. Therefore, our
doctors are able to begin
the appropriate treatment
for our patients right away.
Along with microscopes the hospital is equipped with:
· CDC Hemovet® machine that assists us with complete blood counts.
· IDEXX VetTest® machine that gives us results for blood chemistries.
· IDEXX VetLyte® machine that gives electrolyte results.
· We stock test kits that allow us to test for Feline Leukemia/ FIV, Canine Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichia, and Canine Parvo. These tests take only ten minutes to perform.
· Our centrifuge, refractometer and Chemistry strips allow us to thoroughly examine urine for chemical and physical abnormalities.
· Results are also recorded into your pet’s medical record for future reference.
